2024 was a wonderful year! The nonprofit is running smoothly and we added something different. We honored our mission and remained active in the community. Most of our information is found on our business page. However, I will list a few accomplishments made during the year.
-maintained our platinum status regarding transparency
-A certified tax preparer prepared our 990.
-continued to participate in webinars by Urban Awareness
-attended the 2nd Annual Meeting titled, Linking Solutions to Violence
-attended the Ms. Alliance of Nonprofits Annual Member Meeting titled, The Power of We on April 12, 2024
-On October 2, 2042, members of the alliance attended an information and learning session on Collective Giving. This will be a game changer for small nonprofits.
- prepared a resource table for OctoberFest on Jayne Avenue
held a fundraiser through Groupraise
-Our Independent Living/Social Skills Program is thriving. We had a total of one hundred and fifty-two contact visits this year.
-We also provided personal care items and garments to the above program group members.
-assisted an afterschool program with snacks, warm clothing, and personal care items
-Two members of Created to Serve became book buddies to children in an afterschool program.
- attended the "Homeless Day Fair" sponsored by Stewpot and Opportunity House
-Members of Created to Serve viewed the film, Calls from Home.
-provided Hope Lodge with items from their wish list
-provided the RECH Program with a gift card to assist a family
-held our first retreat
-We are open to what God has for us next!!
